A bachelor degree is less and less valuable due to the commonness of universities in Taiwan. Inevitably, employers ask for higher educational levels in order to find more outstanding employees when most of the applicants have bachelor degrees.
For instance, many employers only interview applicants with master degrees. One doesn't even have the opportunity to be interviewed if one doesn't have a master degree. Therefore, a master degree is the basic requirement for applicants to be employed.
